, 39 areas around concord. these are some of the cooler spots but areas like santa rosa still warmer with the high clouds overhead. where the high died clouds are coming from. we have a weak disturbance that will continue north and east. for the afternoon partly cloudy, mostly sunny as the system move out of the way. a second system here going to also brush just the northern edge of california. the two combined will equal a minor cooldown and a return to the on shore flow that will happen later this afternoon. partly cloudy this morning, temperatures in the upper 30s to low to mid40s. a few low 40s as well as along the coastline. the on shore breeze will come back. that will lead to the low clouds, perhaps as early as tomorrow morning. temperatures today a few degrees cooler than yesterday and most cases, near the coastline with the on shore breeze we could see about five to ten degrees drop from yesterday afternoon. take a look here you can see the clouds moving through, probably about noontime, one, beginning to clear out and for your afternoon mostly sunny to partly cloudy, we do

rosa and oakland. so enough to stir some of that air out there. and in napa a lot warmer than santa rosa. take a look at when's happening here. they are 39 degrees with just a very light breeze and calm over at the airport. 47 in napa where i just showed you that breeze. and so again there is evidence there when you have that wind it will help to prevent that cold air from kind of sinking right there along the valley floor. 37 in concord. 37 in walnut creek. so a chillier start in many areas. you're 10 degrees cooler than yesterday morning. around the bay area, widespread, mid-40s to the lower 50s. so not bad outside your door. if i back up this way, look at the pattern here. so there's the system that brought us a few sprinkles early yesterday morning. and now well off to the east. we have a ridge beginning to build on in. as it strengthens, the wind will begin to decrease and that will happen later on today. right now we still remain with a pretty good grade. and that is what's continuing our morning breeze. so in a nutshell sunny skies today. breeze for the morning hours. we'll s
in santa rosa. 48 in san rafael. 50 in san jose. 49 in concord and also 50 in livermore. here is the thing, current temperatures right now in the low 40s in the north and off to the east bay, a wind 10 to 20 miles an hour making a lot of the bay area feel like the 30s this hour, even the 37 in cupertino, a slight windchill making it feel like 32. the live hd camera network. there's the cloud top buildup. we have some towering cumulus clouds in the south bay today as a sign of instability. we take you off to the north and what you notice is we do have some clearing up above but plenty of low-level instability here across san francisco. and as we also take you into downtown looks good tonight, but bring that jacket and be on the look out or fom rogue showers that once again may develop through the evening hours. back to the weather boards. enough instability through 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 to pop showers up along the coastline. by tomorrow morning we are expecting mainly clear conditions and that is going to set us up for an extremely cold start for wednesday morning. interior valleys in the upper

here in a couple spots. fairfield 34, concord 37, napa, are santa rosa 34. the low pressure area that gave snow to portions of arizona, scottsdale at 2,000 feet had some snow. that's pushing into west texas and new mexico. for us, in the wake of that low pressure area, we have a clockwise throw around there. if you were outside, you felt that breeze today. we'll v that once again tomorrow. the overall weather pattern for the west coast is going to be very stormy, very wet, very snowy in the mountains. but it all is going to miss us to the north because of high pressure parked to our west. the sierra will get some snowfall. but the bay area likely will remain try, temperatures trending into the 60s coming for the weekend and next week. mornings chilly, days seasonal: the storms just miss us, a couple showers possible in the extreme north bay. aside from that, dry again for another week. concord, san jose, 59 degrees tomorrow. pittsburgh 58 tomorrow. sunshine in san ramon. extended forecast, low to mid-60s over the weekend and dry. that's where we stay next week. zero rainfall! >>
